Columbia Law School is proud to be the first law school and only New York venue to feature WINDOWS ON DEATH ROW (WODR), opening Sep 19 at 6:30 pm featuring a panel discussion moderated by The Marshall Project's Bill Keller.

Join us for the New York opening of “Windows on Death Row: Art from Inside and Outside the Prison Walls.” This extraordinary collaborative project displays more than 60 works drawn from people on death row, as well as from some of America’s top political cartoonists.

Co-creators Patrick Chappatte, editorial cartoonist for The International New York Times, and Anne-Frédérique Widmann, investigative reporter, and filmmaker will share their vision for the exhibit. Joining them will be 56-year-old painter Ndume Olatushani, who spent 20 years on death row for a crime he did not commit, as well as Columbia Law School faculty George Kendall and Brett Dignam. Bill Keller, editor-in-chief of The Marshall Project and former executive editor of The New York Times, will moderate the roundtable discussion.

The event takes place at Columbia Law School, Jerome Greene Hall, Room 104. A reception will immediately follow.
