Special Event: Orange is The New Black's Piper Kerman meets former death row inmate Ndume Olatushani

Thanks to all who joined us at this special evening exploring Windows On Death Row: Art from Inside and Outside the Prison Walls, with exhibit founders & organizers Patrick Chappatte and Anne-Frederique Widmann, special guests Ndume Olatushani and Piper Kerman.

Author PIPER KERMAN participated in our Windows on Death Row presentation on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 pm. Kerman’s memoir, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK: MY YEAR IN A WOMEN’S PRISON, was adapted for Netflix, and is now an Emmy Award-winning original series. Kerman joined our exhibition founder's and Olatushani to give opening remarks.

6:30-8:00 pm     Multimedia presentation by Windows On Death Row project and exhibit founders, political cartoonist Patrick Chappatte and journalist Anne-Frederique Widmann, followed by a special presentation from painter and former death-row inmate Ndume Olatushani who was wrongly convicted and imprisoned for 28 years. Jean and Charles Schulz Lecture Hall.
